Judging school or school district's performance can be
tricky. The above sites provide scores from the tests that students have
taken. We are also including some judgments on what these scores mean.

This link will take you to a Sun Times article on the 50 suburban elementary
schools. You may ask, "Where is Arcadia?" who had outstanding scores. If you
then go to "How we ranked the schools" you will find that only schools
that had at least two grades tested were included in their rankings. Since
Arcadia is grades K -3, only the third grade was included, making them
ineligible for consideration. |
